                                                             Diddly Steps Terms And Conditions  

 

 

1. General

1.1     Clients are required to complete a pet profile form giving details of their vet and any relevant     

           Details of their pet’s

1.2     Information given in the initial meet & greet form will be used for all subsequent bookings  

          Unless we are notified that there has been a change in your pets condition or requirements.

 

 

1.3    If we are required to make an extra trip following the initial meet and greet in order to pick up  

          Your key or return the key after a cancelation, it will be a charge of £5

 

  

 

 2. About your animal (s)    

 

2.1      We reserve the right to refuse bookings if an animal displays any form of aggression or

            Antisocial behaviour during the meet & greet

 

2.2     Diddly Steps Pet Services will not be liable for any injury, disappearance or death of any cat 

           With access to the outdoors                            

 

 

2.3    We ask that you purchase extra supplies for your pet to make sure we do not run out while

          You are away. Any expenses incurred by Diddly Steps will be billed to you on your return.

 

2.4    If you book us for Dog Walking Service please note that we allow dogs off lead only

         With your permission after your dog has demonstrated excellent and consistent recall.

          Your dog and your dog walker’s safety will always come first.

 

2.5    We will try to give 24hrs notice if we cannot walk your dog. If not, we will refund the fee

          For that walk.

 

2.6    If 24hrs notice is not given by the client of cancellation, we reserve the right to charge

          For that walk.

 

 

2.7    We cannot walk ill dogs or dogs known to have infection even on a one to one basis

          Because of the risk of cross infection

 

2.8   The client must provide Diddly Steps with the name and contact number of someone capable of   

        making a decision relating to the pet(s) in an emergency. If the contact is not available Diddly

        Steps reserves the right to consult with a veterinary surgeon and then make a decision which is 

        in the  best interests of the animal.

 

 

2.9    If it becomes necessary, your pet will be taken to a veterinary surgeon. You are

          Responsible for any vet fees that incur during your absence.

 

 

 

3 Damage and injury policy

 

3.1     We will not be liable for any damage or injury caused by your animal unless we are shown

          To be negligent.

 

3.2     We cannot be held liable for any theft or damage to your property or injury/illness to

           Your animal unless we are shown to be negligent.

 

3.3    If it becomes necessary, your pet will be taken to a veterinary surgeon. You are

          Responsible for any vet fees that incur during your absence.

 

 

 

 4. Booking and cancellation policy

4.1   We will apply personal judgment and cut short a walk if necessary because of extreme weather

         Conditions (heat ,thunderstorms, snow ect. For the safety of both the dog and the walker.

 

4.3   We require a 10% deposit for all pet sitting longer that 7 days. Deposit must be paid within 7

         Days after your meet & greet or your booking will not be confirmed.

 

4.2   Christmas and New year bookings also require a 10% deposit at the time of booking.

 

4.4   Cancellations with less than 7 days notice will incur in a cancellation fee which will be the cost

         Of your first visit rate and your deposit will not be returned. Cancellation with more than 7 days  

         Notice will not be charged any service rate but will not receive their deposit back.

 

 

5. Payment and privacy

 

5.1   Accepted payment methods are by direct deposit (Sort code 01-01-97. Account 21312079)

        or cash, on or before first service visit.

 

5.2   Christmas day, Boxing day and New Years day will be charged at double rate and will require a

         10% deposit at time of booking.

 

5.3   If the service has not been paid by the first service date, we reserve the right to cancel the
